Magnet Safety Information

The BoTrik Body and the Wall Mount contain strong neodymium magnets. They provide the secure hold of the system – please observe the following notes when handling it.
Keep away from children
Not for children under 14. Magnets are not a toy. Swallowed magnets can attract each other inside the body and cause serious internal injuries – in such a case seek medical help immediately.
Pacemakers and implants
People with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators should keep a distance of at least 15 cm. Strong magnetic fields can impair the function of such devices.
Distance from sensitive devices
Do not store credit cards, hard drives, hearing aids and other magnet-sensitive devices and data carriers in the immediate vicinity of the magnets.
Risk of crushing
Strong magnets attract each other abruptly. When placing the Body against the Wall Mount, keep your fingers out from between magnet and metal.
Do not machine or heat
Do not drill, grind or expose magnets to strong heat. The coating can be damaged; from around 80 °C neodymium magnets permanently lose strength.
Intended use
The magnets are permanently built into the BoTrik system and are intended solely for connecting the Body and the Wall Mount.
